I want to run for a position, what do I have to do?

You must provide a manifesto (why would you be good for the role, experience, what can you bring to it, any ideas for progression etc.) - this can be distributed before or just presented at the AGM.
For the “exec” committee positions (president, treasurer and secretary), candidates must be University of Leeds students and members of the society. All other positions are open to both students and non-students, unless otherwise stated in the society’s constitution.
Members are only allowed to hold maximum of 2 positions per committee term (1 academic year). This is limited to one executive (pres/sec/tres) and one non-executive position - e.g one person can be secretary and social sec, during the course of the 1 year term.
