I’m an international student and I want to change my module/course/university, what should I do?

If you’re an international student in the UK and you’re thinking of changing your studies or modules, you’ll need to:

  • Contact the International Student Office for immigration advice before you make your decision.
  • Get the approval of your parent School (the School where your programme is based).

If you're thinking about withdrawing from your course you'll need to:

  • Contact the International Student Office for immigration advice before you make your decision.
  • Get the approval of your parent School (the School where your programme is based).
  • Complete a leavers' form (available from your parent School).
  • Hand-in your leavers form to your parent School.
  • Hand in any placement uniforms, ID cards etc.

If you’re temporarily withdrawing from University, this might affect your immigration status and the University will have to report any change of circumstances regarding visas.
